My candidate gets my vote
largely because as the Council on Foreign
Relations agrees, pulling the contracts, puppet
government, and turning over new government
installation to the UN is the way to go. That's a
totally different situation as the Iraqi people
will be getting control of their country. They
will distance themselves from the resistance and
the violence will greatly subside.

as I did in 2000, we wouldn't be in this mess
either. But where does discussing the past leave
us, some kinda justification fior voting against

Besides, Gore DID win in 2000.
And you haven't answered my

You're
right but incoming polls are quite a bit alarming,
don't you agree ? And this battle of words between
supporters of Nader and Kerry is only benefiting
Bush, but that you already know. (if Nader had a
reasonable chance to win that would be another
ball game though)
The ship is
sinking and some wants to play it in a fancy way.
I fear this is no time to be fancy. Run for your
life first, and fix the rest after. |

debate here. The news is full of arguments over
whether Kerry should have won three Purple Hearts
or just two.
Meanwhile, Bush's
military record remains sealed. Nobody's even
asking if he showed up for his tour in the Texas
Air National Guard or not.
At least
we know that Kerry really did command a
gunboat in Vietnam. After his tour, he came back
and testified before Congress that the war was
wrong. Who would know that better than a Vietnam
vet?
I don't even know that George
W. Bush ever left the United States until after
9/11. And I don't know that Ralph Nader has ever
even been to Europe; much less Asia, Africa or
South America.
I've learned to vote
for what I know, rather than what I don't know.
