is what Nader said this afternoon on CNN. About
Repo's voting for him instead of going along party
lines. But, the fact was that 38% of people who
voted for him in 2000 would have voted for
Gore. So essentially he did give Bush the
presidency.  |

disagree. I feel that it was the voters that
either failed to cast a ballot for Al Gore or cast
a ballot for W that gave Bush the presidency.
Kinda plain 'n simple, ay? |

While
I totally see your point and agree with
independant parties having the opportunity to run,
the kind of country we would be is a free one
where everyone can/should voice an opinion. (think
USA pre patriot act, pre-prison term for the
bong-selling Chong) It's our duty to speak our
minds.
The problem here is
that Bush will get "the dumb" and "the uninformed"
votes and we all know how many dumb, uninformed
people there are in America!
The current Chimp-n-Chief is
as corrupt a politician as I have ever witnessed
in my lifetime. IMO extreme times call for extreme
measures. When you play a fair game against a
crooked team, you'll lose everytime. |

True,
but what Nader said today didn't make to much
sense. His thoughts that his running would help
get Bush out of office. Then we also have to look
back at the Florida fiasco over the ballots, that
one still has me puzzled seeing his Brother Jeb is
the govenor. |

I
consider myself an independent. But, I have the
common sense to know when not to waste my vote in
a close election. If people want to waste there
vote on an independent then they deserve
everything that is going to happen. My voting
record has been predomanently towards the
Libertarian Party. But, I voted democrat during
Reagan, and both of the Bush's. I'll put up with
the Democrats wasteful social programs over
Republican warmongering and corporate greed
anytime. |

One Bush
Two opposents
If you have two choices to throw
Bush out, IT WILL divide the votes (and we can't
count on the ones who won't vote, right, jimmie
d). That's a SURE THING !
With
these figures, Bush could win with only 34%, the
other two having 33% (totalling 66% in pure
waste). And the scenario could go from bad to
worse if other independant candidates run for
office too. It sounds dramatic, but it's still a
possibility. And I think Americans have to take
heed. Bush could win as long as he have only one
more vote than ANY of the other candidates that's
leading. As long as, neither Nader, Kerry (?), or
anybody else is assured of 50% + 1, it's a risk.

have to remember that Big Daddy Bush along with
being a president and vice president was also once
head of the CIA. Did anyone catch "60 minutes"
Sunday night on the report on the Patriot
missiles? Turns out they never hit any of the Scud
missiles that was falsely reported by Daddy Bush
during Desert Storm. Seems that they were
just expensive fireworks.
