Borsh The idea is to have 2 pans going here, a 12 inch frying pan, and a very large pot. After the stir fry stuff is done it gets added to things in the large pot. / (make spicier with hotter peppers if desired) Do all the chopping first, you're not going to have time once things get underway(: Ingredients: 2 beets 2 large carrots 2 potatos 1 very small cabbage 1 small red bell pepper 1 green pepper(not bell, italian frying pepper). 1 tomato 1 medium white onion 1 clove garlic 1 bay leaf (add to pot ten minutes before done) chicken (or beef) little olive oil sour cream! (add to your bowl, after serving)(don't forget!!!) IN LARGE POT: 1. half fill with water and boil the chicken. (remove fat from water if you want) Do the following after the chicken is cooked 2. Add 1 chopped potato, and 1 whole potato. 3. Add the complete cabbage, shredded. 4. Mince half the onion, and add it in. 5. After the whole potato is cooked, remove it, mash it and put it back in. 6. Chop the carrots, and add half in. IN FRYING PAN: 1. Bring a little olive oil temperature. 2. Other half of the minced onion. 3. Small clove garlic, minced. 4. Other half of the chopped carrots. 5. Stir fry UNTIL ONION BECOMES ORANGE. 6. Chop the beets into small pieces.Add to fry pan. 7. Then stir fry UNTIL CARROTS BECOME RED. ADD FRYING PAN STUFF TO LARGE BOILING POT 1. Add chopped peppers. 2. Add Chopped Tomato. 3. Cook down water a bit. 4. Ten minutes before serving, add bay leaf. Optional Stir a large spoon of sour cream into bowl and mix it all up. Or, I like to leave sour cream in a pile in my bowl, and take pieces off it as I eat.
